One of my favorite pieces I have done at PBN. For one, I came up with the initial concept of the story.
Other than I do really like how it came out overall. For the cover I was given the cover line first and started to brainstorm how I could illustrate how science can be interrupted. I had a eureka moment when I thought about what would happen if the telescopes stopped working? The way I saw it was that as the telescope was scanning the night sky, it came to a sudden abrupt stop. To complete that vision, I had to photoshop a starless sky.
The centerpiece came together really well. Thanks for the reporters who got all of the information for the side bars, the piece came out as a well-organized and informational piece.
